Whether we were chasing snook along the mangroves, watching dolphins play in our wake, exploring historic Egmont Key, or taking in another unforgettable Tampa Bay sunset, every trip has created memories that I'll cherish forever.

Many of those stories began long before I ever became Captain John

For nearly thirty years, I proudly served my community in law enforcement. It was a career filled with purpose, responsibility, and the privilege of helping others through some of life's most difficult moments. Like many first responders, retirement wasn't simply about leaving a profession—it was about rediscovering who I was beyond the badge.

I found that answer on the waters of Tampa Bay.

Today, I'm blessed to spend my days as the owner and captain of Five O'Clock Charlie Boat Tours & Charters, introducing visitors and local families to the incredible fishing, wildlife, and natural beauty that make Tampa Bay, Anna Maria Island, Palmetto, Bradenton, and Egmont Key such special places. Every fishing charter, dolphin tour, and sunset cruise reminds me that sometimes life's greatest rewards come from taking a chance on a new beginning.
